List of Glamping things to bring

Firstly we hope that you will not need to bring a lot. Glamping by nature is about being able to take the hastle out of having to load up the car full of gear!!

We hope we have thought of everything you may need but if not we always say just ask and we hope we can oblige.

SUGGESTED LIST OF THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU OK!
Good torch or camping lantern
Tea lights …look great outside in the evening
Wellies or waterproof shoes(the grass is very wet in the morning and paths around the Ponds are muddy…they do dry up too!)
Slippers or easy to slip on shoes for inside the accomodation.
Charcoal for BBQ,firelighters and matches.

Own logs (or we supply them £6 a box)
Food and drink…there will be coffee, tea and sugar, available.

We are off the grid, so solar energy and huge amounts of laundry can be tricky. So we often ask guests if they can bring their own towels and covered duvet or sleeping bags, plus an extra blanket for chilly nights. We always supply a clean bottom sheet and covered pillows.

This way we also keep our overall fees reasonable, but we can make the bed up for an extra fee of £5. We can provide towels and bedding for overseas visitors for £8.

Travel
Please note if you are using a sat nav it may only take you as far as English Frankton. These are instructions for those people using an in car sat nav. These are important as your sat nav will not get you to our place. It will bring you to English Frankton, which is a collection of houses and farms a mile long. There is no centre, no church or village hall,no streets or street names. When you arrive you will see a large three story house and a large farm conversion under construction.Take the road next to this farm ( it is signposted to Burlton and Shrewsbury). Go around the bends and after two or three minutes you will see free range eggs for sale on the left. We are Acorn Smallholding.
If you are arriving via the B5063 turn by the Loppington village post office. Follow the road for a mile and turn second left.(signpostedo Shrewsbury and Burlton)Go around the bends and go slow until you see free range eggs for sale on the left. We are The Acorns.
If you are arriving via the A528 turn by the Cockshutt village shop( now closed down). It is opposite the Leaking Tap pub. After the sign for English Frankton continue for quarter of a mile and turn right towards Burlton and Shrewsbury. Go around the bends and go slow until you see free range eggs for sale on the left. We are The Acorns.
